Ingredients
Wet Ingredients
• 3 ripe bananas bananas vary in size so you will need 2 packed cups of mashed banana• 4 eggs
• 1 cup nut butter.
• 2 tsp vanilla
Dry Ingredients
• 3/4 cup cacao powder unsweetened• 5 tbsp protein powder
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/4 tsp sea salt
• 1/2 cup walnuts chopped
• 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips sugar free
• chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 3502. Grease a loaf pan and line with parchment paper
"wet" ingredients
1. With the back of a fork or a potato masher, smash the ripe bananas- be sure to leave some
"chunks" as this contributes to the moistness of the finished loaf
2. Stir in eggs, nut butter, and vanilla and mix well
Dry Ingredients
1. Mix all of your dry ingredients together in a separate bowl2. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients
3. Add in the chopped walnuts and chocolate chips
Get ready to bake!
1. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spread evenly with the back of a spoon or a spatula.Sprinkle a few chocolate chips on top of your batter.
2. Bake for about 47-50 minutes, until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
3. Enjoy warm with grass fed butter!
4. Store any remaining banana bread wrapped tightly in plastic wrap.
