Bell Pepper Burgers

Delicious.  Cut the carbs, not the flavor!‼
Bell Pepper ? Burgers ?

Ingredients:

2 med sweet bell peppers (10.52 oz with seeds/stem removed)
1 lb 94 to 96% lean ground beef*
1/4 tsp seasoned salt/pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Toppings:

2 tbsp light thousand island dressing
1/2 c iceberg lettuce
1/2 c sliced tomatoes
56 g pickle slices

Directions:

  • Cut peppers in half lengthwise, removing seeds.
  • Mix burger ingredients in a large bowl. Make 2 patties.
  • Grill over medium heat for 4-6 min on each side.
  • Add 1 Tbsp dressing on 2 pepper “buns”.  
  • Place burger on top.
  • Add an additional -1 Tbsp of dressing on top of burgers. Then add toppings.
